I am a licensed Krakow tour guide
– and would be happy to show you this wonderful city and its surroundings. I have been working as a tour guide and guide for over 20 years.
I am a Germanist and art historian by training, and I further expanded my knowledge of Jewish issues during postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Jewish Studies at the Jagiellonian University.
I am also the author of the Krakow guidebook, Marco Polo, published by Dumont.
I will guide you through Krakow city center, Kazimierz, and Podgórze.
I can organize a tour to Wieliczka and show you the surrounding area.

Suggested Routes
The routes provided are a suggestion or starting point for composing your own sightseeing program. Upon request, I can prepare a personalized route, covering both the listed sites and those of particular interest to you.
CITY CENTER
During this tour, we will stroll through Krakow’s Old Town, following the Royal Route
through the Market Square to Wawel Castle.
We will see the remains of the city walls, the Main
Market Square, St. Mary’s Church, the Cloth Hall, the university buildings, and numerous churches.
On Wawel Hill, we will see the castle courtyard and Wawel Cathedral.
The tour lasts approximately 3
hours. The route can be shortened or extended depending on your interests.
KAZIMIERZ
During this tour, we will stroll through the former Jewish district, seeing monuments
related to Jewish culture, such as the Remuh and Stara Synagogues, the Jewish Cemetery, a branch of the Krakow Museum dedicated to Jewish History and Culture, as well as areas related to Christian heritage, such as the Corpus Christi, St. Catherine, and Pauline Churches.
The total duration of the tour is approximately 4 hours. The route can be shortened or extended depending on your interests.
PODGÓRZE
This tour will take you to Bohaterów Getta Square with its installation of chairs
commemorating the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto, the Podgórze Market Square with the neo-Gothic Church of St. Joseph, and Krak Mound with the Church of St. Benedict.

the tour is approximately 3 hours. The route can be shortened or extended depending on your
interests.
KRAKOW AREA
This tour will take you to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, the Auschwitz-Birkenau
concentration camp, and Ojców National Park with its castle in Pieskowa Skała. The route can be modified depending on your interests.
